LiveAction

The LiveAction adapter from Itential is used to integrate the Itential Automation Platform (IAP) with the LiveAction API to check for the status of a device based on alarms present in LiveAction during execution of a workflow. LiveAction is a network performance platform designed to simplify network management and provide best-in-class analytics.

With this adapter you have the ability to perform operations in LiveAction such as:

  • Network Transformation: Automate port turn up and vendor independent changes to network devices on a large scale.
  • Network Performance Monitoring: Determine the implication of changes pre and post action taken based on alerts, device KPIs, device components, and groupings.
  • Network Reporting for Service Provider: An alert can be set up in LiveAction if there is an issue with an IAP automation.
  • Device Configuration Assurance: IAP can back up a device configuration in a native format that can be restored to the device if there are issues.
