Itential provides an open source Automation Marketplace of 300+ integrations, automations, and transformations to make automation faster and easier. In addition, Itential also allows users to bundle their own automations to create their own Pre-Builts that can then be promoted in CI/CD pipelines and leveraged in other Itential automation workflows.
Using Itential’s Pre-Built Wizard, users can build a Pre-Built bundle for any automation along with its components – a parent workflow, child workflows, data transformations, etc. – and package it both for use in other IAP deployments and to be checked in to source control systems to be used in CI/CD pipelines.
In Part 1 of this ItentiaLearn demo series, see step-by-step how to:
- Install and run a Pre-Built Automation from Itential’s open-source Pre-Built Library.
- Run the open source Pre-Built Wizard with any required information.
- Bundle and package your automation into a new Pre-Built that can be checked into source code repositories.
In Part 2, you’ll see how to use the open source Pre-Built Promotion to promote the bundled automation for use in a CI/CD pipeline.
